Tina is a strategic organizational behavior specialist, with expertise in change management, communications, cultural alignment, executive alignment, employee engagement, and performance management. Her work has benefited organizations ranging from global Fortune 500 clients through Accenture to local non-profits in Manhattan Beach. She is passionate about helping people realize and share their spark, be it a first generation college student, an executive team, or a CEO.
Tina holds an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University Long Beach and a BA in both English and Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Over the last 20 years she has expanded and refined her expertise through several key roles: as a Manager with Accenture’s Change/Talent Management group, in a leadership capacity for a number of non-profit organizations, as faculty at LMU and CSUF, teaching management and organizational psychology, and as a Manager with Emerson Human Capital Consulting. She also has experience with administration, interpretation and application of various assessment tools including: Myers Briggs, DISC, and the Kolbe Index. In her free time, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, travel, photography, and staying active. A perfect day would start with a run on the beach in Kauai, include an adventure with her two children and a camera, and end with some yoga and a great dinner.
Nancy first founded Nancy Monson Coaching, Inc., now Leadership Alignment Consulting Group, in 2003 to offer customized leadership and organization development services that support leaders in achieving their highest potential and effectively leading their organizations.
For over twenty years, Nancy has specialized in leadership development and organization change strategies. With extensive knowledge, credentials and experience in leadership and change, her expertise is tailor-made to effectively coach and guide leaders at the highest levels. She has helped dozens of senior leaders, executive teams and boards increase their effectiveness through her unique combination of strategic thinking, pragmatic problem-solving, organization-wide perspective, expert facilitation and teaching abilities, and breakthrough coaching techniques.
She has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, spanning financial services, high-tech, nuclear energy research, government, medical instruments, bio-tech, transportation, food service, entertainment, non-profit and education. As a frequent speaker and workshop leader, she has presented at conferences, universities and colleges, and has published articles on leadership and change.
Nancy holds an MBA in Organization Behavior from UC Berkeley, an MA in the Science of Creative Intelligence from Maharishi University of Management and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She has extensive training and certification in a wide variety of disciplines and methodologies including, Myers-Briggs, Human Design, Co-Active Coaching, Spiritual Guidance, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Systems Coaching, Compassionate Communication, and the Alchemy of Transformation. She is also an avid outdoors woman with over 20 years experience in wilderness leadership, summiting on many of the highest peaks in North America, trekking in Asia and South America, and leading wilderness backpacking trips in the the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Sierra Nevada. She is also a landscape photographer and writer.
John’s work focuses on establishing the integrity of an organization’s strategy and then determining where and how leadership and culture support or impede the execution of strategy. His work in the areas of leadership development and culture change is rooted in the understanding of how strategic goals shape and influence leadership and culture. He is a master at identifying the key elements of an organization’s culture and communicating the impact on the organization’s ability to achieve its strategy.
John has worked with individuals and organizations throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and has taught college-level courses in human development. His client work includes organizations ranging in size from 50 to over 90,000 employees; industries include financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology, defense, gaming, heavy manufacturing and some exciting startups. He has also had careers in the securities, energy and telecommunications industries. John also spent more than ten years in a monastic environment developing a deeper experience and understanding of human awareness and consciousness. Teaching meditation for many years has shaped his career around identifying, validating and making useful the timeless principles that underlie success and fulfillment in all areas of individual and organizational activity.
John has a BA in cultural anthropology from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Maharishi University of Management with an emphasis in organization development. He is certified in Myers Briggs and the CPI260, a leadership development assessment tool. He is a member of the International Coach Federation and has trained with The Coaches Training Institute and with New Ventures West.
